Why Japan Won’t Go To The Moon

Why won’t Japan – with all of its advanced technology and everything needing to be cute – go to the moon? The Chinese are there and the Americans said they were there a whole bunch of times, they even have a mailbox there for any interstellar mail coming their way…

But why won’t the Japanese send up a rocket and open the first moon sushi restaurant?

Isn’t the answer obvious?

Giant monsters like Godzilla, Mothra, Son of Godzilla, Mechazilla, and the rest (sounds like Gilligan’s Island) are already there, banished from Earth since the 1960s to reside in peace and harmony … Japan has been devastated enough by these monsters and have agreed never to invade the home of the monsters again.

But Lo! The Chinese are on the dark side of the moon for a reason, but how long until their secret activities enrage and wake the monsters? Will they rise up (not the Chinese, the monsters … well, take it anyway you want) and possibly return to Earth to destroy all humans?!

So we all have that to look forward to for 2023, maybe … thanks China.
